Culver City Council this week approved a three-year, $12-million agreement with Exodus Recovery to serve as the lead operator, supportive service provider and property manager for the two new housing facilities for the homeless on Sepulveda Boulevard.In March, Culver City was awarded a $26.6 million Project Homekey grant from the State of California for the acquisition, rehabilitation, and operation of two motels at 3868 and 3900 Sepulveda Blvd. Combined, the motel repurpose projects will create 39 interim housing units for people experiencing homelessness and 37 permanent supportive housing units for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, said city officials.
